The Powerhaus Blog has been years in the making. My goal has always been to uncover science-backed information to help me age in the healthiest and happiest way pThe most valuable lesson I learned is that "what got me here won't get me there." The tips and tricks that worked in my younger years no longer had the same effect—or didn't work at all. I had to relearn my body, study expert advice, and identify the lifestyle habits I needed to adopt to thrive in this stage of life possible. This blog is my way of sharing that information with you.

I've always considered myself to be relatively healthy. I’m not super strict, but I maintain a balanced diet (most of the time) and stay fairly active. However, once I turned 40, I started noticing changes in my body and realized I wasn't feeling as great as I used to. It took a long journey of trial and error to figure out what works and what doesn't in this new phase of life.
